Tucson, AZPima Medical Institute is hiring a Respiratory Therapy Instructor ( RRT) for a full-time teaching career.

Compensation: $31.00 to $38.75
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8 am to 5 pm

Clinically Current & Competent: With at least three years of hands-on experience, you bring real-world scenarios and current best practices into the lab and lecture hall.

Organized & Process-Oriented: You can manage a classroom environment, maintain accurate student records, and plan engaging lessons that align with a structured curriculum.
A Collaborative Team Player: You are eager to join a team of experts at a well-respected institution and contribute to the long-standing legacy of excellence at Pima Medical.
- Associate’s degree. Baccalaureate degree preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or an otherwise recognized training entity (e.g., hospital-based program) in Respiratory Therapy.
- Three (3) years of experience as a hospital/clinical respiratory therapist.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) State license.
- Current respiratory therapy and teaching licenses, certifications or other designations as required by local, state or federal laws to work in the field.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and other computer skills.
