Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will blend clinical expertise with a passion for teaching, helping to shape the next generation of veterinary technicians.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical:
Provide veterinary care under an established VCPR.
Oversee animal husbandry, medical care, and surgical procedures.
Serve as managing veterinarian under the program’s state premises license.
Ensure compliance with AZVMEB, AVMA, and USDA regulations.
Maintain DEA license and controlled substance protocols.
Instructional:
Develop and deliver engaging lessons, labs, and demonstrations.
Evaluate student competencies and maintain academic records.
Enforce professionalism standards (attendance, conduct, etc.).
Organize field trips, guest speakers, and community engagement opportunities.
Additional Duties:
Serve as Attending Veterinarian for IACUC (attend semiannual meetings).
Participate in Advisory Board meetings, faculty sessions, and graduations.
Manage medical/pharmaceutical supply orders.
Qualifications:
DVM with current licensure.
3+ years of clinical veterinary experience.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
